Angela M. Pisa

Angela M. Pisa 92, of the Bunker hill section of Dunmore, died Tuesday morning at Allied Hospice Care.

She was married to the late Alfredo (Al) Pisa who passed away on May 1st of 2013.

Born in Dunmore the daughter of the late Francesco
and Francesca Gialanella (Genello).

She was a graduate of Scranton Tech High School and later went on to work in the local garment industry, prior to her retirement she was employed by the Headstart program.

She was a member of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish and the Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Sons of Italy, the Enrico Caruso Lodge, and the Valley girls dinner club.

Angela is survived by her son and caregiver Carlo and his wife Bessie of Dunmore and grandchildren Alfredo, Michelina Terescavage and husband Frank, a great granddaughter Maria Michelina, several nieces nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by a son Gunther, a daughter Mary Michelina, brothers William, and Charles, sisters Minnie, Blanch, and Florence.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Regional Hospital, Allied hospice care, Colleen Davis, Rev. David Cappelloni, and Monsignor Constantine V. Siconolfi.

The funeral will be Friday at St. Rocco's Church 122 Kurtz St. Dunmore, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM. Interment Dunmore Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday evening 5 PM to 7 PM at the Morell LaBelle Funeral Home 301 Chestnut St., Dunmore.
