Ann
Malatesta
March 10, 2022

She was educated in local schools and was employed at Golo Shoes. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Caramel Parish Dunmore. Ann always enjoyed spending time with family, she was a very family-oriented person. She also enjoyed playing bingo with her friends and neighbors of the Dunmore Highrise, and visiting with "her girls down at the center." She was steadfast in her religion, a devout follower of Jesus Christ, and also enjoyed the occasional Manhattan, and the penny slots of any casino. Ann is survived by a sister, Angeline Nataloni, of Dunmore; nieces and nephews, Joseph Nataloni, Marcia Nataloni, Lisa Stein, James Malatesta Jr., Thomas Malatesta, Tony Bartoletti; great-nieces and nephews, Cali and Ivy Nataloni, Tyler Stein, Nina Malatesta, Louis Malatesta; great-great-nieces and nephews, Amelia, Oliver and Asher. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her brother, James Malatesta Sr.; and sister, Mary Bartoletti. Her celebration of life will be Thursday, March 17, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, located at 322 Chestnut St. Dunmore. Visitation will take place at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment, Mount Carmel Cemetery, Dunmore. A donation can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers. Our family would like to extend our immense gratitude to the staff at Life Geisinger, for going above and beyond their call of service, becoming friends, and like a second family to Ann and our family. As well as the staff at Sacred Heart Hospice and the Morell-LaBelle Funeral Home. Arrangements by the Morell-LaBelle Funeral Home, Dunmore.
