David B. Edwards

David B. Edwards died Thursday at home after a long illness. He was married to the late former Ruth Ann Capouci who died in 1985.

Born in Moscow, he was the son of the late Donald "AB" and Alice Evans Edwards. He was a Vietnam veteran. Served as a Marine, he received a good conduct medal and an expeditionary medal Navy unit commendation.

He worked for IBEW local, 130  in the building trades,

and received his 50 year watch at retirement in 2005.

He will always be remembered for his love of motorcycles , riding, guns, and the shooting hobby.

He is survived by two daughters, Janice Edwards Kizer and husband, Andrew of Moosic, Lisa Edwards, and Russell Roberts, granddaughters, Hailey Kizer  of Moosic and Melanie Edwards of Archbald, also aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and loving relatives.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald, a sister, Margaret Saylock and her husband George.

The funeral will be Friday at 10:45 in the Morell-LaBelle funeral home 301 Chestnut St. Dunmore friends may call from 9 AM untill the time of service.
