Edward Riviello, of Dunmore, passed away on December 16, following a brief battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Samuel and Bernetta Sabetta Riviello.

Ed was employed as a rehabilitation counselor where he had the honor of helping countless clients with their addictions. Ed will be remembered, by those who knew him, as a kind and gentle soul.

He is survived by a son, Cory, sisters, Paula, June and companion, Brian, and Lisa, brothers, David, Sam, and Jason, several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunts. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joey, and brother-in-law, Joseph.

The family expresses sincere gratitude to Tony DeSando for his lifelong friendship, as Ed considered him a brother. The family would also like to thank Janice Lewis and Jim Owens for their unwavering support.

Per Ed's wishes, his services will be private.
