Elizabeth 'Betty' DiNoia

Betty DiNoia, 94, of Dunmore, died Saturday morning at Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehab. She was the widow of Genaro "James" DiNoia, who died in 2021.
Born in Hanover Twp., Luzerne County, daughter of the late John and Mary Paulenko. Betty was educated in local schools. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Dunmore. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the local garment industry. She was also a member of ILGWU. After her retirement, she and her husband were very active in the antique trade attending many auctions and spending countless days at the Circle Drive-In flea market.
She is survived by two sons; a sister, Anne Doherty; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Pauline Haggerty, Sophie Duncan, Alex and Peter Paulenko.
The funeral was private as per Betty's wishes. Interment took place at Dunmore Cemetery in the family plot.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Morell-LaBelle Funeral Home, Dunmore.
