Frederick J Skaluba died Thursday morning at Regional Hospital in Scranton. He and his wife Virginia would have celebrated their 60 wedding anniversary in May of this year.

Born in Dunmore, son of the late Frederick and Margaret Biagioli Skaluba.

He was a graduate of Dunmore high school and later went on to serve in the United States Army. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Pennsylvania liquor control board for many years.

He was a member of our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Dunmore.

He is also survived by two sons Fred and wife, Susan of New Hampshire and Robert of Dunmore, two granddaughters Nicole of New Hampshire, and Melissa of Boston, and several nieces nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 AM in our Lady of Mt Caramel Church 322 Chestnut St. Dunmore.

Those planning on attending the Mass are asked to go directly to the Church.

Interment Hickory Grove Cemetery Waverly. Arrangements by the Morell-LaBelle funeral home.
