John J. Pantuso

John J. Pantuso, 94, of Dunmore, died at Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Sunday. He was married to the late Gloria Pantuso, who died in 2017.
Born in Dunmore, son of the late Dominick and Caroline Unione Pantuso, John was a graduate of Dunmore High School class of 1947. He was a member of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish, Dunmore, and previously a longtime member of St. Eulalia Parish.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by TWA as an aircraft mechanic.
He is survived by three children: sons, Jack, of Clarks Summit; Blaise, of Jefferson Twp.; and daughter, Anita Bausman, of Trivoli, Illinois; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie Mirabelli; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by his infant daughter, Maria; his brother, Alfred; his sisters, Rose Lalley and Barbara Simon; and a great-grandson, Benjamin.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Dunmore. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, Scott Twp.
Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Morell-LaBelle Funeral Home, 301 Chestnut St., Dunmore.
