Joseph G. Nicholas died sadly on Jan. 12, 2024.
He was the loving son of the late Gerald and Susan Nicholas. He was preceded in death by his beloved siblings, Angelo, Sister M. Geraldine, D.M., Rosalie Payne, Gerald, Sister M. Susanne, D.M., Anthony; and his three nephews, Gerald B., Robert P. and Thomas R.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Peggy and husband, Chuck Annunziato; William and wife, Jody Nicholas; Joseph and wife, Michelle Nicholas; Susan and husband, John Kowalewski, who will deeply miss him; and many grandnieces and nephews. Joseph also had a special place in the heart of his many cousins.
The funeral will be Saturday, Jan. 27, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Dunmore. Interment, Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until time of Mass at the Morell-LaBelle Funeral Home, 301 Chestnut St., Dunmore.
