Julia Lalli Lackenby, of Susquehanna, died Friday at Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Dunmore, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jenny Caruso Lalli. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, who died in 2003.

She attended Dunmore schools, the College of St. Elizabeth, Morristown, N.J., and the University of Scranton.

She is survived by loving nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and great-grandnieces.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

There will be no viewing.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, Royal, Pa. Interment will be at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Twp. Arrangements, Morell-LaBelle Funeral Home.
