Linda McAndrews, 71, of Scranton died Friday, October 2 at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Linda is survived by her husband Timothy, and the couple had celebrated their 50th anniversary in April of this year.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Haas.
She is survived by daughters, Celeste Chadwick and Tarah McAndrews, both of Florida; brothers, Mark Haas of Dallas, TX and Jeffrey Haas of Mohnton, PA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by a son, Timothy Jr.
Linda graduated from Governor Mifflin high school in Shillington, PA, attended Wesley college in Delaware, and was employed by Olde Good Things in their internet sales department for many years.
She was a long-time member and secretary of the Church of Bible Understanding.
She sincerely endeavored to encourage and guide younger Christians in their walk with Christ. She will be greatly missed by them, as well as by many others who saw her as a good friend and example of faithful perseverance.
Linda’s family would like to thank the staff at Geisinger CMC, Allied Hospice at Home team, as well as all of the friends and aides that helped care for her during her battle with cancer.
The funeral will be held on Saturday Oct 10 at 9:30 AM at Morell-LaBelle Funeral Home
