MARY A. QUATRA

Mary A. Quatra, 76, of Dunmore, died peacefully on November 11, 2021, at the Dunmore Healthcare Center after a brief illness.

Born January 6, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Santo Quatra and the late Josephine Micciche Quatra. Mary was a lifelong resident of Dunmore and a 1962 graduate of Dunmore High School. Prior to retirement she was employed by the Federal Government, Social Security Administration, Scranton Office. Mary was a member of St. Mary's Church, Dunmore, and looked forward to attending St. Ann's Novena each summer. In her younger years she enjoyed traveling and also shopping at the Steamtown Mall.

She is survived by nephew, Stephen Quatra and wife, Jean Marie, Dickson City, niece, Lisa Kincel and husband, Jerry, Moosic; great-nephews, Gerald J. Kincel, Jr., and fiancée Dana Ganley, Mechanicsburg, PA, and Randy Kincel, Erie, PA, an uncle, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Santo (Sandy) Quatra, and her sister-in-law, Carolyn Quatra.

The family would like to thank the Dunmore Healthcare Center and their nursing staff for their compassionate care during her stay there.
