Matilda (Madee) Morell

Matilda Morell of Dunmore, died Monday at home. She was the widow of William Morell who died in 2001. She was the daughter of the late Alex and Lusia Boezi Burattini. She served as a Girl Scout troop leader for many years, she loved gardening, making homemade pasta, the casino but most of all her family. She is survived by two daughters Dr. Marie Morell, and Louanne Morell R.N. B.S.N. She was also preceded in death by her son William Jr, a sister Patricia Senofonte, brothers Drego, Terry, Paul, and several nieces nephews. As per her request she was cremated with private graveside funeral service at the Italian American cemetery. Arrangements were provided by the Morell – LaBelle Funeral Home.
