March 20, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. John J. Cipriano announces his passing early on Wednesday morning.
Dr. John J Cipriano, 71, a lifelong resident of Dunmore, was the son of the late Benny and Nancy Fasula Cipriano. He was a member of St. Rocco's/St. Anthony's Church, where he received his sacraments.
John was a graduate of Scranton Preparatory School, the University of Scranton, pre-med, the University of Padua, Padua, Italy, and a graduate of the American Medical University of the Caribbean, where he earned his M.D.

He was a gifted guitarist and enjoyed boating at Lake Wallenpaupack with his family and close friends. In the end, the most important thing to John was his family and friends.

Special thanks to William Johns, Andrew Guariglia, and Andy and Toni Stecco for all of the help and support they so willingly provided.
