Nicolas J. Riggi 90, of Scranton died early Thursday morning at Allied Hospice in Wilkes-Barre.

He and his companion Judith O'Barra, spent 28 years together.

Born in Dunmore, the son of the late Nicolo and Catherine Noto Riggi.

Nicholas was of the Catholic faith and graduated from Dunmore High School, and Temple University earning a degree in electrical engineering.

He was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War.

He was employed by the FAA prior to his retirement.

He is survived by two daughters Pamela Rigle and husband Mark of Swoyersville, and Nicole Clemow of Dallas, one brother Anthony and wife Dorothy of Boca Raton FL, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by nine siblings.

Nicholas enjoyed many activities especially golf, bowling, his trips to Atlantic City. he was an excellent piano player, he always enjoyed his fishing trips for salmon, but most important and what he will be remembered for is his loving caring concern for his family and those around him.

Nicholas requested that his funeral will be private.

The Funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00am in SS Frances and Clare parish 98 Larch St. Scranton.

Interment Fairview Memorial Park Elmhurst.
