Patrick J Cortazar Jr died Saturday after an illness.

He was the husband of the former Proca Draper the couple would have been married 52 years this month.

Patrick was born in Scranton, son of the late Patrick and Helen Virbitsky Cortazar.

He was a graduate of Midvalley high school and prior to retirement was employed by Supermarket  Services.

He is also survived by His seven sons Louis, Patrick lll, Bruce, Tommy, Alan, Jason, Vince, one sister Betty Zurat, 16 grandchildren, one great grandson, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral was private at the request of the family. The arrangements were provided by the Morell – LaBelle Funeral Home.
