Pauline A. Born and raised in Dunmore, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Angeline Tomasello Bundy. She attended Dunmore High School, class of "57".  She and her twin sister Rose Marie attended and graduated from District of Columbia General Hospital School of Nursing.

Her nursing career encompassed numerous aspects of care provisions from pediatrics to elder care.
