Raymond Marrero, 65, of Gouldsboro, passed away on February 24, 2020 at regional Hospital of Scranton, after a brief illness.
Born on August 11, 1954 to the late Tomasa Lopez his mother and his pops Noel Lopez. He went to the Manhattan vocational and technical high school in Manhattan, New York. Before being happily retired. Raymond was employed as a UPS truck driver.
All who knew Raymond will remember him for his smile, hard work ethic, love of his dog Bella and the love he had for his family especially his daughter Christina. Raymond enjoyed going on vacations with his family and friends. Raymond was always there to help family and friends with anything they needed. Raymond had a passion for sightseeing on his motorcycle and ATV. He enjoyed going to big Bass Lake in Goldsboro, for camping and relaxing.
Ramen had a passion for music and loved playing all his musical instruments. Ramen was an avid sports fan for the New York giants and NASCAR. He was an amazing dad to his one and only daughter Christina. " she was the heart and soul, the number one love of his life, his pride and joy, but most of all his baby girl."
Surviving; his daughter Christina Marrero, Pittston, and his two furry grand dogs sassy and Roxy. His siblings; brother, Angel Marrero, sisters Carmen Herbert, Millie Figuero, Annie Ortez, Piti Lopez, step mom, Maria Benitez, stepson, Peter Gonzalez, former wife, mother of his daughter, Daisy Velez, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by his brother Julio Marrero. Funeral arrangements are pending.
