Regina Marie Sorge

Regina Marie Sorge, 55, passed away peacefully on April 1.

Born in Scranton, Regina was the daughter of Achille Sorge and the late June Hagerman Sorge. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Sorge.

Regina was a graduate of Bishop O'Hara High School and Lackawanna Junior College, where she earned an associate degree in retail management. Regina was employed by Boscov's as a manager for over 30 years. She loved what she did and the many friends that she made there.

Regina was a parishioner of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish, and was a faithful attendee of St. Ann's Novena every year. She enjoyed trips to the beach and New York City, and spoiling her niece and nephew, as well as her friends' children. She was the best Aunt.

Regina is survived by her father, Achille; sisters, Kimberly Sorge and April Tabor; nephew, Ricky; niece, Alexandra; cousins; and many friends.

Regina was loved by many and will be missed dearly. Her family wishes to thank the wonderful medical teams that assisted Regina over her last few months.

A blessing service will be conducted Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Morell-LaBelle Funeral Home, 301 Chestnut St., Dunmore. Interment will take place at Dunmore Cemetery.

The viewing will be Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
