Roberta T Whittington Steinruck

March 13, 1935 – October 5, 2025. Passed away comfortably in hospice care at Oak Ridge rehab rehabilitation, Taylor PA. She was the companion of Nicholas Scaringi for over 30 years.

She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Edward Steinruck, father, Robert Whittington, and sisters, Lois and Hazel. She is survived by daughter, Sandra Stofila and husband Michael of Shavertown, son, Arthur Carichner and wife Kevan Horsehead NY, grandchildren Adam Stofila and fiancé Riza, Dallas, Christian Carichner, and wife Annie, Ames IA, great grandchildren, Willow and Junie Carichner, Ames IA.

Funeral arrangements are by the Morell-LaBelle funeral home Dunmore.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9 to 10 AM with a graveside funeral service at Cathedral cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the local SPCA location in memory of her beloved kitty PEEPERS  We would like to thank all of you for your condolences and prayers.
