Ronald F. Comine, 80, of Dunmore, passed away peacefully May 15, 2025 at Allied Rehabilitation after a brief illness. Born in Scranton, June 21, 1944 he was the son of the late Albert and Clare Zewecki Comine of Moosic.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Gay Elizabeth Gibson; a nephew whom he referred to as his son, Jerome Comine Jr. and his wife Debra of Middletown, NJ; and three daughters: Marisa Hanis and her husband Louis of Scranton, Alicia Smith and her husband Jeffrey of Lake Winola, and Erica Comine and Christopher McDonnell of Scranton. Beloved by his grandchildren Alex Smith of San Diego, CA, Jayden Smith of Scranton, Jaxxon Smith of Lake Winola, Maggie Hanis of Scranton, and nieces and nephews. Also survived by his sister, Diane Comine Lewis and her husband John of Riverside, CA.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Albert Jr., Robert, and Jerome Comine.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on May 23, 2025 by Reverend Cyril D. Edwards at Mary, Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church. Interment followed at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
