Salvator J. DeNucci, 85, of Dunmore, died early Friday morning
surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his wife of 13 years,
the former Flordeliza Aleguiojo.

Born in Dunmore to the late Pietro and Lamenta Mancuso DeNuccio,
Salvator was a United States Army career veteran, serving in both
Korea and Vietnam and was a recipient of numerous military awards and
wartime campaign medals.

Salvator earned an Associate's of Science degree in business
administration. He completed courses on servicing electrical
appliances with a concentration in air conditioning and refrigeration.
He also completed a master course in color television service and was
a personal computer support specialist.

He is also survived by his children, Marie Brodowicz of Jefferson
Twp., Donna Perry of Maryland, Alice DeNucci of Pittsburgh, Mary Ann
Walsh of Scranton, Christine Kate DeNucci of Wilkes-Barre, Art Cedric
DeNucci of Dunmore, and Prince Cedie DeNucci of Dunmore; siblings,
Joan DeNucci of Dunmore, and Josephine Marie Coluccio of Clearwater,
Fla.

Salvator was also preceded in death by his first wife, the former Mary
Ann Gromelski; siblings, Carmella Lush, Frank and Ralph DeNucci,
Isabel Gahwiler, Angela Butler and Lucy, Phil, James and Joseph
DeNucci.

The funeral will be Saturday with Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.
in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 303 Smith St., Dunmore. Interment, Mt.
Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements provided by the Morell – LaBelle Funeral
Home. Those attending the Mass are asked to go directly to the church
