Thomas B.
Pilong
September 23, 2022
Thomas passed away peacefully on September 23rd at Linwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 93 years old.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph Pilong and Anne Moore. Always a hard worker, Tom wore many hats throughout his lifetime. He began work with the Reading Railroad at a young age to working on oil trucks before starting his own ice cream truck business in Philadelphia named "Tom and Gerry's" that he ran for many years. After selling the business, he bought and ran a newsstand at the corner of Castor and Aramingo Ave for several more years.
Thomas moved from Philadelphia to Promised Land in the late 1990's and resided there until 2018, spending the last several years with his family living in Jessup.
The family would like to thank all of the CNA's, nurses and staff from Linwood for their amazing care, kindness and serving the best "torpedo juice" in town. We will always be eternally grateful.
Thomas is survived by his 2 daughters Kimberly Stoltz and Charlotte Maddaloni and 6 grandchildren Michael Bradley, Jennifer Bender, Kimberly Foat and husband Tony Seymour, Michael Foat, Jessica Volk and Charles (CJ) Volk. Predeceased by his partner of 45 years, Geraldine Foat.
