Kathryn A Slebodnik

Kathryn A Slebodnik died Tuesday evening at Allied Hospice surrounded by her family.

She was married to her soulmate the late, James M Slebodnik who died on February 14, 2007.

Born in Archbald, Daughter of the late Reginald and Kathryn

La Nane Browning.

She was a graduate of Olyphant high school and a lifetime member of SS Anthony and Rocco Parish. She was employed by Moses Taylor Hospital in the housekeeping department for over 10 years.

She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She had a kind and giving nature. She enjoyed ceramics, family, game nights, bingo, and word puzzles;  however, her favorite activity was spending time with her grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

Surviving are two daughters, Cathy Kovitch and husband Richard of South Abington, Tracy Czyzyk of Throop, a son James V Slebodnik of South Abington,  brother Reginald  of Dunmore and a sister Dorothy of Colorado, two grandchildren Bridget and Ethan, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be Monday at 11 AM in St. Anthony's Church  Dunmore.

Interment Fairview Memorial Park

Visitation will be on Monday from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM in the Morell- LaBelle funeral home 301 Chestnut St. Dunmore
